We had a great time
Positiv: Great location, quirky, something a bit different.
Negativ: It would be nice to have sugar and salt and maybe tea provided. Some people might like a bit more privacy than just curtains between bed rooms.

Lots of potential! Missing neccessities
Positiv: Charming part of town. Good kitchen. Very clean and within walking distance to all needs (when they are open — most things close on Sunday). Loads of potential — definitely would recommend for visits of younger people who can navigate old steep stairs. Be aware that this is not fully stocked and do not expect privacy in the rooms (no doors)
Negativ: There is no privacy in the bedrooms or noise reduction as there are no doors — only curtains. Some curtain rods are not secure, so when you try to close the curtain the metal curtain rail falls on your head. Additionally, we arrived on Saturday night and there were things missing that are challenging to source on a Sunday (no matches to light the fire, no wine opener, the coffee press did not fit properly so coffee ground got into the water, no tea strainer/tea pot). The check in at 4pm was very late, particularly with no option to leave bags in advance. The owner said the house was too small to hold bags during cleaning, but the bottom floor was very spacious and could easily have accommodated this. Obviously this is entirely up to them and their right, but visitors should be aware that leaving bags early is not an option. Also important to note that we could not secure Ubers at any time to/from the train station and taxis were twice the price. Finally, the owner wanted name / date of birth / nationality / passport number of all guests before our arrival. This was extremely uncomfortable given that we had paid in advance and were still uncertain whether the venue was a scam or not as we could not go there until 4pm (this has happened on booking.com before).
